VHS Movie Reviews of Sign-Me-A-Story: Sign Language Fun for Everyone! [VHS]Movie Review: great for teaching toddlers and adults signs. Summary: 5 StarsIf anyone knows of any tapes of this type, would appreciate hearing about them. When we just pull up similar tapes, the suppliers/sellers can't tell us if there is audio with them. So for hearing children/adults, we need to be sure that the signs are not just subtitled but spoken.
Movie Review: Everyone loves a story! These are FUN & educational. Summary: 5 StarsLinda Bove and her Partner do a terrific job of presenting, explaining, and reviewing the signs. My 4 yr old (hearing) grandaughter just loved it and so did I!! Gramma
Movie Review: An fun way to introduce ASL to verbal & non verbal children Summary: 5 StarsBoth my 8 year old daughter who hears but is non verbal and my "typical", active, hearing 2 year old LOVE THIS VIDEO!! It's a half hour of peace while they both practice such signs as "hot", "cold", "sleep", "eat", "Mama/Mother", "Papa/Father", "Grandmother" and other key words in daily living. A great video for all!
Movie Review: Excellent introduction to signs for children Summary: 5 StarsMy daughter loves this tape. She is 18-month old and deaf. This tape is a great introduction to signs for all children, hearing and non-hearing. They have such a knack for signs and signs is a great way to introduce language to hearing children before they can express themselves with speech. END
Movie Review: A wonderful tape for both hearing and non-hearing children Summary: 5 StarsI bought this tape a few years ago for my non-verbal autistic child, who was using sign at that time. I really like this tape. It has 2 stories, Little Red Ridinghood, and Goldielocks. This tape shows the signs first, then tells the story, then reviews the signs. END
