VHS Movie Reviews of Sailor Moon S - Secret Destiny (Vol. 6, TV Version)

Movie Review: Shocked...
Summary: 4 Stars

I have only seen the Cartoon Net. version of Sailor Moon S and I am so suprised to find out that Amara and Michelle are lesbians!! Okay, it was kinda obvious that their feelings went deeper than "cousins" but I never thought that cartoon network would actually go so far as to portray them as family. I am still waiting to see the uncut version, and I can't stand the suspense! Now I understand why Amara allways dresses like a guy! I personally love Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (lesbians or not^.^) because thier transformation is so beautiful (and the music for it is great, too) so I just can't wait to see thier true identities!! (I rated this four stars reffering to the cut version on Cartoon Net. because I can't stand Serina's voice actress)

Movie Review: Haruka And Michiru
Summary: 5 Stars

The first episode is about how Haruka met Michiru and became Sailor Uranus.I thought it was brillant.People may not like it because of their relationship but I still thought it was an amazing episode.
The second was about Chibiusa having a crush on a class mate. The animation was ok but not the best and the story was pretty boring.
In the last episode the girls went to a party and even spoke english! The story was good and fun to watch and the animation was really good.
I strongly recommend this tape just for the first episode.

Movie Review: TV version all the way!
Summary: 4 Stars

I'm more fond of the TV version and I won't discuss Haruka/Amara and Michelle/Michiru's relationship that is a matter you must deal with. Let's just focus on the Series. Amara feels that her duty is overwhelming and Michelle's(your input) inquiry only infuriates her.It is up until Sailor Neptune arrives when she must make the final decision. The other Episodes involve many of endeavors and interesting situations. My only pet peeve is the new actresses for Serena, Mina, Amy and the fact that Michelle is voiced by the same actress for Serena's mother. Rini's new voice is equally annoying! other than that CWI's dubb is pretty good and true to the story and at the same time within Cartoon Network's guidelines! Four stars is the best rating it will get due to the less than ideal voice actresses!

Movie Review: I saw the TV version it pretty much is well done!
Summary: 3 Stars

I maybe be the only one who loves the TV version of Sailor Moon that is older than 13. I feel that this is a wonderful alternative to the uncut version! I agree with the person who said Sailor Moon Fans get a life! I'm glad they aim Sailor Moon towards everyone's preference! I think it would be unfair to market the Uncut Subtitled/Dubbed Versions only! Thanks CWI and Cartoon Network! Now if only they would air Sailor Moon Stars Season and the First two seasons!

Movie Review: AWESOME!
Summary: 5 Stars

(I am writing about the uncut/subbed version here). What can I say? This is a really, really good tape. This tape holds one of the best episodes of the season(besides 110-111)called "Bonds of Destiny, The Far Reaching Day of Uranus". In this episode, Haruka and Michiru's pasts and how they met is finally revealed, as well as the *true* nature of their relationship. Another cute episode is "Art is an Explosion of Love! Rini's First Love! Then , the infamous episode in which Usagi becomes slighty drunk, "The Waltz is Usagi's Dance". Over all it is a *very* good movie... It leaves you anticipating Vol. 7....
