This movie is AWESOME!!!
I love this movie, because I love Pokemon.
Pokemon is no longer just for kids, Pokemon can still be fun for kids, but Pokemon can be fun for some older people too.
I loved Pokemon since when I was little kid, and I still Pokemon.
I got the DVD of this Pokemon movie for a birthday present when I was a teenager, and I still have the DVD of Pokemon the First Movie.
I recommend this movie to folks that love Pokemon.
Here are some reasons why I love this movie:
- This movie is based on this cartoon series Pokemon.
(This movie was made after they aired the original series of Pokemon)
- Ash's voice sounded great in this in Pokemon the First Movie as in the original series of Pokemon
- Misty was still traveling with Ash, when this Pokemon movie was made.
I would also recommend this Pokemon movie to some folks that say Misty is good-looking.
Remember Misty has a crush on Ash.
I miss seeing Misty in Pokemon.
Ash and Misty had great adventures together. Ash and Misty are a great couple.
If you love Pokemon, buy this Pokemon movie on DVD.
If you love Pokemon and If you don't have a copy of this movie, buy it if you want it!!!

Summary of Pokemon the First Movie: Mewtwo vs. Mew [VHS]
This is the first movie of Pokemon and also includes the first battle between Mewtwo and Mew!The world domination of Pok?mon begets their first theatrical movie. This adventure is a little more complex and dark than the popular TV series, but kids who live for the show will gobble up this film and ask for seconds. Those baffled by the show's popularity, however, will see nothing better here. Mewtwo, a new type of Pok?mon designed by scientists to be the ultimate fighter, decides he wants to rule the world and challenges all the great Pok?masters to battle. Of course, our intrepid heroes Ash, Misty, and Brock are there to tangle with Mewtwo and spoil his devilish schemes. The film is a tad more emotional than the show (that is, there is some emotion), with Ash sacrificing himself to defend his beloved Pikachu (but don't you worry, Ash will be just fine).
Would you really expect the makers of this worldwide phenomenon to radically change its winning formula? The feature is only 55?minutes long, but there's also a 20-minute short, "Pikachu's Vacation." For the Pok?mon novice, this escapade will truly baffle: the narrated tale has virtually no dialogue except Pok?mon speaking their names (Bulbasaur, for instance, will only express emotion by using variations of his name: "Bulba, Bulba-SAUR!").
