Movie Review: Excellent. The best

I got this DVD with other 2 of Minna's 3 years ago. I am still using the DVDs and they always give a result.
1. You don't have to know anything about working out, she will guide you step by step. In the beginning will be very hard and you will get the feeling that you will never get the steps right or just do the right form. But with time and persistence you will get there. I like Minna very much she explains step by step everything, she also points what NOT to do. And she encourages, believe me this is so needed.
2. I love her work outs, because they are combination of aerobics, cardio, pillates, yoga. And I like that.
I highly recommend this DVD -
If a beginner - give it a chance - first time I did the video I couldn't sit on my b.... for 3 days. Now I get only sore.
If not a beginner, still a great change from the gym, other DVDs and workout.

Minna Lessig's strength & grace is one of the first programs that combines strength training exercises with the conditioning power of Yoga and Pilates*. This workout blends the best Eastern and Western exercises for the most innovative approach to total body conditioning.*based on the original works of Joseph H. Pilates
This innovative workout blends traditional strength-training moves, such as squats and lunges, with yoga postures and Pilates-inspired moves in an interesting, varied format. Led by Minna Lessig, a former Ms. Fitness USA and N.P.C. National Fitness Champion, you move gracefully from position to position. For example, beginning in a pli? you transition into a warrior pose, or from a wide squat into a tree pose, to sounds of music with a Latin beat. In another exercise, Minna has you hold a push-up position (a posture called "the plank") for long enough to tremble, then push your hips up until you're in the downward dog pose.
Although you don't use weights, the workout is challenging because you're constantly stopping your momentum in order to balance, and because you're holding postures that fatigue the muscles. The routine works the lower body much more than the upper body. A long, soothing stretch sequence at the end works our flexibility--one component of fitness that is often neglected.
