Movie Review: Micro - Phonies
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great "Three Stooges" tape, which features 3 classic Curly shorts.

First on the tape is the 1935 short "Uncivil Warriors". The stooges are operators 12, 14 and 15 during civil war times. They are sent behind rebel lines to find the southern army's true strength. They are eventually found out, and they have to make a run for it. This also includes another section with Curly getting girly! This an excellent short.

Then, in "Three Missing Links" from 1938, the stooges are janitors at a movie studio who wreck an office. Then, Curly is cast as a gorilla, and Larry and Moe are cavemen. They go to Africa to make a film, and curly gets mixed up with a real gorilla. This is another very funny short.

Last, but not least, in "Micro-Phonies" from 1945, the stooges are janitors who come across a microphone. A woman mistakes Curly for Senorita Cucaracha, and Larry and Moe for Senors Mucho and Gusto. The stooges end up at a party (with Curly in drag) performing a musical number. This short is great.

This is a very good tape.
