VHS Movie Reviews of MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch: Round 1 [VHS]

Movie Review: solid entertainment
Summary: 4 Stars

I used to be addicted to this show in 10th grade. I would come home and around 10 o'clock at night Celebrity Deathmatch would be on. It was unique the way the show was created at the time. I don't even know if the show is still around- haven't seen it in years.

The matches on this collection are really good and I would like you to buy it because it's also pretty funny.

Movie Review: MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch: Round 1
Summary: 3 Stars

When I saw this video, I was happy to remember what MTV was like before. I used to watch this show all the time because it was really good, and so is this video. There are six matches but the first three are not that good (not statisfying). The other three though are a lot better. These last three were Steven Segal vs. David Spade, Prince vs. Prince William, Michael Jordan vs. Dennis Rodman. I would still recommend this video to any fan of Celebrity Deathmatch, and if you have never seen it you will learn to like it.

Movie Review: It's Gonna Be A Bloodbath!
Summary: 4 Stars

Some of the earliest Deathmatche's from Series One are on this tape, including the classics: Hillary Clinton vs. Monica Lewinsky, Mariah Carey vs. Jim Carrey and Jerry Seinfield vs. Tim Allen. As always Celebrity Deathmatch manages to touch the funny bone, even if it is always being re-shown on MTV. There is a special behind-the-scenes studio tour not shown on TV that is very funny. Good fight, good night! If you're stuck between buying this one, Round 2 or Greatest Hits, go for Round 2!

Movie Review: great entertainment

great to watch especially if you watch wwf cos STONECOLD STEVE AUSTIN sometimes appears on the show excellent clay-mation

Movie Review: Gumby Meets WWF
Summary: 3 Stars

Absolutly funny fictionous clay animation satire of celebritys fighting until death in an fighting ring. The funniest episodes were Garth Brooks versing Maralyn Manson, the Knight Rider guy versing John Tesh, and Arnold Schwartzenegger versing Sylvester Stallone. I have no idea what the names of those episodes are.
