VHS Movie Reviews of Little Romance (P&S)Movie Review: TOUCHING,HONEST,BEAUTIFUL, DIANE'S BEST Summary: 5 StarsA Little Romance is one of those films that once you see it, it will stay with you forever. It is nothing but mesmerising, touching, funny honest, gentle, beautiful. This is a film made for every age. Diane Lane,Therlonious Bernard, Laurence Olivier are fantastic. The scenary of Venis is absolutely beautiful and there's something about the film that gentle and honest. Diane Lane like always is excellent. There's always something about Diane, you can see in her performances that she is older than her years, which I adore about her. Diane is just gorgeous as always. I definitely recommend this film to anyone that wants a little romance in their lives. By Justine Ryan
Movie Review: awesome! Summary: 5 StarsDon't miss this movie. I fell in love with this film in the early 80's when they ran it on cable and I've been waiting anxiously for it to be released on DVD. This one is in my list of best movies of all time. Diane Lane and Thelonious Bernard are brilliant and as always, Lawrence Olivier is not to be missed.
Movie Review: As wonderful as Venice at sunset when the bells toll... Summary: 5 StarsThis has to be one of the most under-appreciated movies of all time. George Roy Hill had directed two of the best comedies of the late 60s-early 70s, Butch Cassidy... and The Sting. Then he made this gem...
Two lonely teenagers in Paris, a street-wise French boy and a sheltered American girl, both of whom are hiding their genius IQs in order to fit in, fall in love and realize how lucky they are to have found each other. With help from a romantic old con artist (Lawrence Olivier at his best; he should have done more comedy), they run away to Venice to make their love last forever. They have a wonderful adventure, and along the way, Hill pokes fun at American tourists, pays tongue-in-cheek homage to his own great movies, and shows us how beautiful life can be when you're different.
Movie Review: Great and memorable movie Summary: 5 StarsThis movie epitomizes romance and first love. The scenery of Italy enhances the movie with its enchanting musical score and memorable conclusion. Although Diane Lane will most likely win Best Actress this year for her role in the movie, Unfaithful, this is her best role.
Movie Review: The cutest movie ever Summary: 5 StarsI love this movie. It's definitely one of my favorites. Laurence Olivier is awesome (of course). Diane Lane hasn't changed a bit since she was a kid. She still looks exactly the same. And Thelonious Bernard is absolutely adorable. You just fall in love with him more every time you watch this movie.
