Movie Review: American Pie for the girls?
Summary: 3 Stars

This movie is about two girls who compete to lose their virginity. At several points in the movie I so embaressed for the characters I had to mute it so I wouldn't have to hear the dumb things they said.

It reminded me of American pie because in american boys compete to lose their their virginity and the only one that does lies about it to protect the girl he slept with. Of course it isn't funny like some people thought that damn pie movie was.

Personally I will never watch this movie again, but it was fun for one night.

Movie Review: Little Darlings= American Pie
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved "Little Darlings". It was funny and really cute! Tatum and Kristy were great in it! To me it's like the first version of American Pie. People betting to loose their virginity. Plus Armand Assante was freakin' hot in it!

Movie Review: A box-office hit!
Summary: 3 Stars

If people don't know about this film or simply can't remember much about it, must be because they weren't moviegoers in the early months of summer, 1980. I was fifteen at that time and saw "Little Darlings" in an actual theater, then once again in another theater, then at a DRIVE-IN. It was a huge hit. It packed theaters. It was also the original version(not the version UPN shows or the butchered version originally aired on NBC in 1983 or currently on Comedy Central: songs are dropped, discarded footage replaces "risque" footage, and lines are ludricrously overdubbed). It's actually an uneven film that tries mixing seriousness and slapstick together(like an R-rated Parent Trap!), but the ease of Kristy's colorful, natural performance pulls it together. Tatum looks lovely, but seems disinterested (a lot of heavy sighing, like she's bored--although her scenes with camp counselor Armand Assante are rather sweet). For many early video prints, background songs were changed due to publishing rights, but at least all the right scnes are there. Bypass this on TV and get the video. It's a charming piece about the foibles of growing up.

Movie Review: What happened to the ending song?
Summary: 4 Stars

I recently bought this at Media Play, ( a video store here in Pittsbugh) and was disappointed that "Let Your Love Flow" by the Belemy Brothers ( i think) was omitted.. Why is this?? I always remembered this as the ending song, why did they take it out? I saw on the box that some music had been changed, but why?? Anyone know? BUT, I still love this movie!!!!

Movie Review: See the video
Summary: 4 Stars

If you have seen this in TV then you have not seen this movie...you have to see the uncut version to appreciate it. I remember this movie from my youth and recently watched it again and I still love it as an adult. Kristi, Tatum and Matt all seem so young and raw...
