Movie Review: Just the thing until the next time Les Miserables is in town...
Summary: 5 Stars

Watching this DVD is quite a satisfying experience - the cast is truly phenomenal, the costumes are great, and stills from the play are interspersed with the singing so that even children can get a sense of scene changes and what is going on.

My kids (1st & 2nd grade) have been listening to the CD for the last month or two, and have read an abridged version of Les Miserables (the Stepping Stone version), and have not tired of Les Miserables one little bit. They ask so many thought provoking questions, they sing along with half of the songs by now, and they can't wait to see the Broadway production.

But for now, the Les Miserables Dreamcast in Concert DVD has quieted the "When can we go to New York and see Les Miserables?" questions. This DVD is currently the most watched DVD in our home - well worth the money.

My wife and I loved this. Music is just awesome, with top performers from all their previous shows, even international "Val Jeans" around the world come to perform. Although there is no real acting, it still brings out the story to life. It's a must have if you like Les Miserables.

Les Mis was SOOOOOOOOOO awsome!!
I loved when Colm Wilkinson sang "Bring him home"
Like my most of my family members I loved when Philip Quast sang "Stars" that is absolute favorite song!
"on My own" was my other favorite! and "A little fall of rain" Made me cry soooo hard!
All the other sondgs were awsome!!! Les Mis is one of the best broadway musicals IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
