Movie Review: Not Noggin but the kids don't care
Summary: 4 Stars
My twin 18 month old boys love the bits on Noggin. They stomp around when the Dinosaur song comes on. But they do the same when the video is playing. I don't care for the video quality but its still Laurie and that is what the boys want to hear. They are usually too busy dancing to notice the outfits on Laurie and Suzie. Granted my mother (who cares for the children when I'm at work) refuses to play the video because of the outfits. I know that they will be entertained when I need to fold laundry. So, there you have both sides. But the important thing for me is that the kids enjoy.Movie Review: Not Noggin, but just as fun

I understand the previous remarks about this video not being what is shown on Noggin (that is why I looked for this in the first place), but despite the fact that the live footage is shown inside of a "book" frame, my 3 year old and her 2 year old cousin love it just the same. As do I. Laurie's music is great, and the video is very entertaining. You would think that after having to watch it 2 to 3 times a day, I would be tired of it, but as long as the kids enjoy it, it makes it fun all the time.Movie Review: Laurie Berkner's Video Songbook

I purchased Laurie Berkner's Video Songbook for my 2 granddaughters ages 31 months and 18 months. They first saw Laurie on Noggin and love her, they can't wait until she comes on everyday. That was the reason I purchased the video, so they could watch her anytime. Their favorite is the Dinosaur's Marching and mine is Victor and Freddie. Laurie is a fantastic entertainer for children, I hope she continues to make more videos.Movie Review: A Slam Dunk Winner!!

Laurie Berkner is awesome. Every song but one is a gem, and that one would probably be liked by others.
"We do our very best, we do our very best, we do our very best each day, but we're not perfect" are the kind of affirmations that Berkner sets to catchy tunes with nice harmonies kicked in for good measure.
In Victor Vito, you can hear it a hundred times and not want to blow your head off!! That's good because you WILL hear it at LEAST that many.
This was my first Berkner buy and the book is on the way. I'm getting more CDs too! She's first rate, and thank God my son likes her better than Raffi or the Wiggles!!
Movie Review: love laurie, the video however is average....

my kids love her, so i bought the video,while they seem happy with the video, i have to agree with some of the other people here that have rated this video; very amateurish, looks like someone shot a home video, and what is with those outfits? i am not sure what these girls were thinking...it is a kids video, very inappropriate...laurie is decked out in a tight,short, spandex outfit; her hair is bleached blonde, and she has sparkles all over her face, same with susie...but all in all we still love laurie, and my kids like it,so i guess thats all that counts!
