Movie Review: Our Family Loves Miyazaki

All of the movies by this director are wonderfully imaginative. We were first introduced to this director a few years ago with Spirited Away and since then we've watched (and eventually bought) almost all of the titles available in English. While some of Miyazaki's movies are not appropriate for very young or sensitive children, Kiki's is completely benign and very cute.Movie Review: Very good but not Excellent

My daughter watches Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle over and over again. Thinking this DVD would be on par we purchased Kiki's Delivery service. Very nice but doesn't come close to the richness and quality of Spirited or Howls. It won't get completely forgotten in the DVD stack just a little dusty.Movie Review: Wonderful Video

I have looked all around town for this video. My daughter had this one a few years ago but lost it in Hurricane Katrina. It is one of her favorites. The story is charming and it is a first rate production. I recommend it to anyone who likes adventure.Movie Review: Kiki's Delivery Service

I've long loved this movie and just finally went ahead & bought myself a copy. Kiki is a fantastic little witch who's struggling to find her place in the world. A very real dilema for all, witch or not! I love the animation on this. I love the setting of the town she's in. Just a fantastic little movie that certainly shouldn't be saved for Halloween alone.
