Movie Review: Timeless family entertainment
Summary: 5 Stars

I remember watching this as a youngster, bought a video copy when my children were young and with this latest DVD, I was able to enjoy it with yet another generation in my family. Snoopy and the gang never looked so good...the picture was great and the quality was fantastic. This one will always remain a favorite.

Movie Review: Pumpkin Boo!
Summary: 4 Stars

Whenever the holidays come up, we alwys enjoy watching some of the classic cartoon specials with the younger generations. When it comes to holidays like Christmas, and Thanksgivng those classics from Frosty Th Snowman, and other never lose their feeling. That also can be said for Halloween too. Although there have been many specials for Halloween from Garfield, and the Looney Tunes gang, none have been more special than the classic from he Peanuts gang. Although there have been many new specials and series from Charlie Brown and the gang, their moments from time have still considered to be special. Now with Halloween again nearby, many wish for the great pumpkin.

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is just as fun to enjoy as it was when it debuted back in the 1960's. The gang gets ready for Halloween, while Linus beliefs in the great pumpkin make him miss out on all the fun that the haunting night has placed on for Lucy, Charlie Brown and company. The show has been digitally restored in better quality than it was years go, and all of the non-stop laughter is still here. from Snoopy escape battling as the World War I flying ace, to the classic eternal struggle Charlie Brown has with trying to kick the shallowless football Lucy always holds for him.

If you haven't seen this clasic from the late Charles Schultz, you really don't know what you're missing. While so many kids of the the younger generation are much more tempted with Spongebob Squarepants, and The Fairly Odd Parents, it is nice to offer a safe and fun alternative to any spooky night. Really, good grief!

Movie Review: The Holiday shows are the best
Summary: 5 Stars

How can anyone get through the holidays without seeing their classic favorites from their childhood. I have this and my kids played it into the ground last year.

The only real problem with owning such a DVD is that the show itself begins to lose its 'specialness'. When you could only see it once a year(providing you didn't miss it) gave it something that you lose when you can see it whenever you want.

I love it and watch it during the season. It goes back in Storage until next year. I don't want my kids to get worn out on it like they did with Shrek and the Harry Potter movies.

One of my favoriet scenes is of course Snoopy and the Red Baron. Somehow I have to get ahold of the song that was made about it. Another one would be when Sally goes off on Linus when she realizes the Great Pumpkin isn't going to show and that she's missed Trick or Treat.

This is simply a must have for anyone, period!
