Movie Review: Bought this movie to add to my collection
Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this rather obscure film as part of my collection of the works of Bobby Darin. Bobby played a gigolo which involved speaking with a fake accent that the character used to romance the wealthy women in his sights. In case you don't know, Bobby was an incredible mimic & could do almost any dialect perfectly. Once his cover was blown with the leading lady, the character then spoke in his regular voice. Needless to say, Bobby played this role, albeit small, with his usual Darin aplomb. He shot this film not long after his exile in Bug Sur. If you're a BD fan, pick up this film. It's too bad Bobby couldn't have lived longer to do more acting, which he loved. In my estimation this was one of his best roles. Oh, if only we could see more....
