VHS Movie Reviews of Burn Fat & Get Fit with Susan Powter [VHS]Movie Review: the best Summary: 5 StarsI owned this video in Australia and when I came to the US I just had to have it. I bought at least 1/2 dozen others - what a waste of money, this one is the best. As someone previously said the editing is not the best. You overlook that because of the varied interval training that works all your body and is not too hard or too easy. Whatever fitness level you can do it via 'modification'. I am tempted to buy another of her videos but find it hard to imagine another video could be better.
Movie Review: My Old Standby Summary: 5 StarsI bought this tape in 1996 and have used it many many times over the years. If I seem to get into some other type of work out, I always come back to this video. Susan Powter is truly a REAL person, and you are not intimidated by her style or her workout moves in the least. This video is great because it has the aerobic and the interval training combined giving you a complete total body workout. I would highly recommend it and anyone could really master it. The sequences are not tough to learn and you really do get a good workout I feel. Definatley buy this one!
Movie Review: Awesome Summary: 5 StarsI felt terrible and was in an horrible marriage when I started working out with "Burn Fat & Get Fit" with Susan Powter. Following, I had proceeded to joining a gym for a couple of years, not forgetting about my workout tape. I lost 40lbs and went from 165lbs to 125lbs. I have now been single for over two years and still feel great thanks to Susan. However, I have since quit the gym after 2 years. Furthermore, with Susan Powter I can continue to keep my appearance the way it is. She has helped me raise my self esteem by feeling better about myself while remaining thin still at 125lbs. I would like to personally thank her, also I would like to see her come back to publics eye. For Susan was helpful more than one way, not only the weight, I have never felt better. Sincerely, Lisa Barber
Movie Review: Susan P. Saved Me Summary: 5 StarsI bought this video in the hot and humid NYC summer of 1996 and have used it on and off since then. Some people don't believe she actually lost 133 lbs. as she says she did, but I believe her because she seems to understand what it's like to be overweight (not to say Fat). She gave me hope when I'd lost it and helped me lose more than 20 lbs. and "reconnect with my body," as she puts it.She is motivating and encouraging throughout the video, unlike any other videos I've tried. She seems like a real human being, unlike the mannequin types who I've seen do exercise videos. I love her style and highly recommend this video to anyone who feels unfit and not ready to work out.
Movie Review: good solid workout Summary: 5 StarsI love Susan Powter and wish she would release more videos. Unlike some exercise videos that only have perfect looking people never breaking a sweat, this one employs real looking people who are exercising their hearts out. It is very easy to follow and Susan is very motivating. She lets you know that its okay not to be perfect. If I could only keep one of my exercise videos, this would be the one I would choose
