Movie Review: A live action Belle playing with kids
Summary: 5 Stars
Since Belle loves books so much, why wouldn't she not open her own bookstore? And in this movie Belle has come to life and owns her own bookstore called "Belle's Book and Music Shop". And she hangs out with human kids,and they are Hamption Davis, Jennifer Jesse, Swawon Python, Kristen Stroms, Natalie Trott and Julie Vanlue (all playing themselves I guess). And along with the kids, Belle has a cat called Harmony, a giant talking book, and two worms. And not only does Belle (Lynsey Mcleod) reads stories, but she also sings them, the stories iclude The Wise Old Hen, The 3 pigs, and Hansel & Gretell. And even see stories such as Belle and friends cleaning the bookstore, and Mrs Pott's party (I'm not sure those are the titles Belle remembers during the movie. So please remember that two heads are better than one.
Summary of Belle's Tales of Friendship
Belle's Tales of Friendship is a made-for-video treat that finds an innovative outlet for Disney entertainment old and new. Although the cover is of the animated Belle from Beauty and the Beast, this program's star is Lynsey McLeod as a live-action Belle. ? la Barney, she invites grade-school kids to come into her bookshop to listen to tales, play games, and learn simple lessons. Her stories come in the form of classic Disney cartoons, which rarely have a good showcase these days. Belle supplies narration for the circa 1950s animated shorts of "Hansel & Gretel," "The Three Little Pigs," and "Morris the Midget Moose." This video's highlight is "Mrs.?Potts' Party," a never-before-seen segment that was made for Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas but never used.
