Movie Review: Balance of Power is a Power Shortage

I am a long time movie collector with over 2,000 titels on VHS and DVD. I collect all types of movies, but action movies are my favorite and good martial arts (Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris etc.) at the top of the list. This movie is somewhere near the bottom. It seems completely clueless. The plot is weak, the acting poor, the dialog bad and the action(?) scenes third rate. Save your money, there are hundreds of far superior action movies out there than this. Billy Blanks may be a talented martial artist, but if he is, this movie would never quality as evidence in court. The movie tries to combine elements of Bloodsport, Rocky and Enter the Dragon and fails in every effort. As an actor, Billy Blanks is a novice and he delivers his lines with all the emotion of a houseplant. Sorry Billy, this is bad, I hope your others are betters.Movie Review: I don't believe this!!!

It is unbelievable that anyone who is remotely intelligent can possibly say this film is even decent at best. This film is unbelievably rotten, from the acting all the way to the script. The fact it was even made gives reason as to why sucides seem to some as the possible way out. I once had swiss cheese and the experience was similar to watching Balance of Power, and that's where you should file this movie under...cheese.Movie Review: i like this movie

This movie is excellent! Same caliber or higher as Tough and Deadly. The spiritual message for people young and old is wonderfully potent! Scenes of training sessions are fantastic. The action in the arena is un-precedented! Evidently, Billy Blanks does not forget the source of his gift and training (The universal creator and Asian master.) Apparently Billy Blanks believes in giving credit where credit is due---Asian culture. This review is written by a 55 year old African-American female residing in Worcester MA. I was/am a Billy Blanks fan long before Tae-Bo put him in the spot light. Buy this movie and any others you can get your hands on. Enjoy, keep and treasure them! This is the best video. It is a mind enhancing, sweat enducing, thrilling video. You can truly see that this guy puts his Heart, Mind, Body & Soul into this sport for the "Super Tough". More action than Jackie Chan, more moves than Jean Claude, more muscle than .....I'm without words!! Just GET IT!!!!!
