Movie Review: great video
Summary: 5 Stars
Why people are so critical about this new format of the video? It's still fun, educational and entertaining. My son actually loved it and was glued to the TV. If those changes came to lack of an educational part or something- I would complain. Puppets are as cute as ever, colours are bright and kids love it. What is wrong with the animation? Kids should be used to anything that can help them learn. I would highly recommend to buy this DVD. Thank you, Baby Einstein.
Movie Review: My least favorite, but kids like some of it.

I bought this without checking the reviews and regret it. As many people have commented, this is very different from the other Baby Einstein videos. There is WAY too much computer animation and are very few images of shapes. The photos they do have of shapes are vague, e.g. walking suitcases for rectangles. I'm sure there are far better examples of rectangles out there! Also, the song is unbelievably annoying. I prefer the classical music of the other BE videos.
What drives me most crazy about this video is the behavior of the puppets. The lion has crayons in his mouth (a habit I'm trying to break my twins of) and the dog gets bowled over by a ton of balls (my kids cry every time this happens).
This is a complete bust in my book.
Movie Review: A great DVD

I am truly shocked at some of the write ups on this DVD! Yes, it is done differently than other BE DVD's, but I think it is great and so does my 1-year old! He absolutely loves the crayons and the way they jump out of the box and dance around to the song "I love my shapes", and I think it is very cute as well. I can't say anything negative about any BE DVD I've seen so far. I think they are all great, entertaining, and fun to watch and help parents teach their kids about the world around them. I would highly recommend this DVD to anyone.Movie Review: Teaching his shapes and colors

Since I looked high and low for a video to help my son with his shapes and colors... this was the only one I could find. My son never was a big fan of BE, but liked this video and it did it's job! He knows his shapes really well and colors pretty well.Movie Review: Yuck!

My 18 month old loves all the Baby E stuff. My son loves the puppets and the pictures of real objects like peas and oranges.He hates the clowns and crayons! The animated parts are awful. Why did they change a perfect format?
