Movie Review: extraordinary is an understatment

I accidently started to watch this movie years ago,by the time 15 minutes went by it became dear to me.If you get the message it is massively moving, if you don't unless you have no emotion or sense you will still be moved by the mere beauty of it all.the scene with Berrenger flying drunk is outstanding, the music is devine and sheer perfection for the emotions that run through him.The last scene as well,so not to ruin it I will simply say berringers face is shown,in that moment I saw him as a truly brilliant actor.I have seen him many times in all types of roles,thought he was just another actor.well in this film his performance was Oscar worthy in my opinion.Perhaps it touched him deeply where he needed to be touched to soar in his art.Simply put this film is a masterpiece, sadly none heard of it I have ever talked to,amazing.Movie Review: Review

Certainly one of the most interesting and emotionally moving films ever made. It is a shame that the DVD is not available. Many times it's hard to understand entertainment companies' logic and priorities, considering all the cinematic garbage out there on DVD. The acting is excellent and the characters are fully developed. I have seen the movie several times and enjoyed it every time. Don't be fooled by the complaints (and low ratings) of whiners who apparently can't deal with a bit of reality.Movie Review: Where's the DVD???

This is one of the best movies I have seen, period. I can't believe it isn't on DVD. Of all the "junk" movies they put on DVD and no one buys, why isn't a movie like this available to the thousands (who knows how many) of people who are just waiting to buy it? I just saw above that the "budget estimate" was $36 million and the "box office" was $1 million for this film! Wow, it seems someone lost quite a bit of change on this film! It is a VERY GOOD film! The scenery, the acting, the story, are all VERY good. I had never heard of this movie before until I ran into the book recently. Then, I decided to "try" the movie. I'm glad I did. You will be glad also when you buy this film...even if it's not even on DVD but only on VHS! I highly recommend you get a copy.....Email: boland7214@aol.
PS: Don't listen to the negative review above done by some guy at the New Yorker Magazine. He must be a "glass half empty" type of guy.
